About Us

 

We started Sugar Pie Honey Buns in 2014 with a simple mission: to bring the people of Los Angeles the highest quality, no frills, genuine pie experience. At the heart, our bakery is a collaboration between wife and husband, Michelle and Jonathan - a pastry chef and a designer. Together, we are on a mission to create meaningful experiences through quality food and thoughtful service design, to elevate everyday moments. As business owners and craftsmen, we aspire to remain true as honest and responsible makers, and go above and beyond in providing you a great customer experience. 

 
 
 

Michelle Park

Chef Michelle Park trained in the pastry arts at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Since 2006, she has been honing her skills at New York and Los Angeles establishments like the Michelin Star-rated restaurant Public, Frankies 457Prime Meats and One Girl Cookies. She has served as pastry chef at Kyotofu in Hell's Kitchen in New York, and Akasha in Culver City, California. She participated as a contestant on the Food Network show, Sweet Genius in 2012, and has since appeared on Martha Stewart's Sirius XM radio show.
